...first day of term 3...

all the tables in the classroom were re-arranged and i couldn't find my table. the place which i'm sitting had raymond's books. when the bell rang, ms leong came in and i couldn't find any place near my clique. in the end, i sat and am still sitting beside shih ying. it's not bad actually because she's a nice and motivated girl. probably i'd find it tougher to sleep with everybody around me concentrating during lessons.

shih ying's really great. she understood everything mr teoh had taught. i kept asking her for solutions to the questions. :P so paiseh... but she's kind. she taught me till i understood and i'm grateful for her patience.

ms. leong came in. by the way, she's our new form teacher. she talked to us about some class stuffs. i don't understand what's wrong with all the teachers. why did they condemn our class? initially, i didn't feel inferior coming into this class, but each and every teacher who came into our class will start preaching to us about our attitude and asked us not to feel inferior. I DIDN'T!!! not in the past, but they made it seem like we did. after constant brainwashing, i see myself becoming so demoralized.

i had to wake up early for the syf opening. it's fun and i enjoyed the band performance. i couldn't seem to get sick of it. =)

my first official neoprint with my friends. =)

i'm finally back from the kuantan trip. wah. my friends wouldn't let me sleep last night, especially that tl, who kept tickling me. then we watched one and a half matches. in the end, we couldn't get up the morning. i switched off the alarm of my handphone and continued sleeping. olive and xx couldn't wake up too. after i had finished brushing my teeth, i called wenz and found out that they were still sleeping. my god. later on the bus, everybody fell asleep. i was sleeping in weird positions. i nearly fell of the chair. :P the gross part was that my saliva kept drooling. maybe i was dreaming of food.

then, i bought some bubble gums, planning to smuggle them back. i tried hiding them in many places. in my jeans' pockets, my jacket's pockets and even in my shoes. my friends saw how panicky i was and laughed at me. they teased me for buying 9 bars (is it bars, or what?) of chewing gums. afterall, i bought the most amongst all my friends.

in the end, i still got through the customs. my friends say they will close one eye but i was still scared. but i think i'm an idiot, i bought the gums for others. why am i sacrificing myself? LOL! i didn't buy anything for myself. after getting through, all of them were like, "oh my god! you'd gotten 9 chewing gums over!" i was thinking why didn't i smuggle more... i should have smuggled a whole box back. haha* =P

anyway, i'm back at home. HOME SWEET HOME!!! finally, i don't have to eat seafood for lunch and dinner anymore. i'm quite sick eating the same food everyday, though i have to say they're good food. alright, my kuantan trip ends here...

we headed towards another beach. there's a souveneir village there, but i didn't think there're much souveneir there. i bought two shirts there, one with tortoises and one with a fish. i think i bought the tortoises one a bit too big. i wonder who can wear.. :P

then we had our lunch before heading towards a turtle sanctuary. i didn't manage to see any turtles laying eggs. there wasn't much to see there. at night, we stayed in the hotel and watched matches. i was so tired but they refused to let me sleep. woa. it's the first time i saw a goalkeeper got kicked out. jooz said, "does that goalkeeper know that game or not?" finally they left and i fell asleep immediately.

the second day of the trip. i couldn't get up when my phone's alarm rang. i vaguely remembered that i had set the alarm to 12midnight because i had wanted to watch the match. how did the alarm became 4.30am? i heard from wenz they all that they had come back to our room yesterday. how come i had no recollection of them returning? they said that they had made lots of noise. when the alarm rang, they recollected that i had actually woken up. i told them that i didn't remember they coming back, let alone changing the time of the alarm. but all of them said they saw me waking up. eee.. so spooky. maybe i was sleepwalking. :P i didn't know i sleepwalk.

at 4.30am, we woke up supposedly to watch sunrise. i think many people couldn't wake up. we had to gather at 5.30am but not many people were around then. by the time we had reached the place, the sun had already risen. we had to climb a mountain, or is it a hill? i don't know. it's just that we had to climb and climb and there's someone in front who kept stopping, making everyone wait. i gave up halfway and i regretted it. they said we only had to finish the flight of stairs in front of us and we'd have reached. =P

then we bought coconut biscuits and xx bought seven packets of it. she bought them all for her relatives. she actually managed to carry all of them home.

then we reached the batik factory. i thought i had bought the most number of things. jan said the things there were impractical, but in the end, she also bought something. i bought some pencil cases, clips and a book. maybe I should have bought more pencil cases to give to my cousins. there aren't enough to go around now. :P

after lunch, we went back to the hotel. we decided to take a stroll along the beach and took lots of photos. they joked that we could make a music video with the amount of photos we had taken at the beach. tl had one of my candid photo!!! :P

later, we had to gather again for dinner. after dinner, we slept and arrived at the next destination. we were brought to watch fireflies. gradually, night fell and we couldn't see the path in front of us. we could see fireflies on a tree near the jetty. everybody was trying to catch one or two of them. then they even joked that the passing car lights were big fireflies travelling at fast speed.

back at the hotel, something creepy happened. olive fell asleep before anyone of us in the hotel room and jan called me to report on what had happened in her room. then i saw jooz opening her eyes. then i whispered. the next day, she told me that she wasn't awake and that she didn't recall opening her eyes. was it my illusion or did something really happen? scary...

i woke up at 5. i slept at 3 and had only 2 hours of sleep. before i could do anything, i had to wait for everybody to give me a morning call. each time i wanted to use the toilet, there's phone call. so i just took two pieces of bread and munched them while packing my stuffs. :P

pathetically, i dragged my big bag and went to the bus stop. damn it. i had missed the bus by a slight margin. phew~ another bus came along.

we arrived at malaysia! we alighted at this place which sold food. many people, including me, didn't feel like eating because we were suffering from car-sick. it's good enough that we ate something. the food wasn't to our liking.

after lunch, we went to a jungle. we sat on a boat and saw many lotus. they're beautiful. serena plucked out one of the flower and before long, all the petals had fallen off. it's such a pity because it's so pretty. then we reached the orang asli settlement. the children are so cute. they sat on the table and observed us. when yingz and friends wanted to take photos, the children even helped them to pose. :)

our dinner was at a seafood restaurant at a roadside. it's not those high-class restaurant, but it's situated next to a beach which added to the 'ambience'. we took some photos there, but i think it's too dark. i doubt we'll be able to see our faces. :P

when we reached the hotel, we decided to bath. i didn't know how to use the shower in the bathroom. i had taken off all my clothes and didn't know what to do. in the end, i had to knock on the bathroom door and asked olive and xx for their help. the first time i knocked, they thought it was from the outside door and thought somebody must be playing a prank on them. then i shouted, "it's me la." then they asked me to wrap myself up while they came in to examine the stupid shower.

the worst part is that both of them didn't know how either and we had to call the other room. then, tl was bathing. :P i had to wait. oh man! this is the most embarrassing moment, with everybody running into the bathroom to examine the stupid thing while i stood there with only a towel wrapping around me. luckily wenz didn't come along, if not, she'd have laughed her head off.

because of this sentence, i've decided not to give up on myself. the flower is there. i have to nurture it with all my heart. obstacles are tests for me to improve myself. no matter what happens, the most beautiful flower blooms for me only, no one else. that's why i had to work hard, because i want to see the pretty flower blooms..

there's another belated birthday present for me. IT'S F.I.R CD!!! oh man... i needn't buy it afterall. thnx, jane and chuz... i love you two!!!

chuz, jane and yan had breakfast with me today. :) yan bought me an ice cream cake. i couldn't finish it by myself. it tastes delicious and looks amazing. if one were to finish it alone, it'd be so lonely and tasteless. i'm glad jane and yan helped me finish the cake. thanks dude! :)

i've just opened the presents my friends gave to me. olive gave me a pair of dolphin earrings, jan gave me a plush dog and wenz gave me a scented candle and a bookmark. the rest of the clique shared a card. xx made me real touched. she gave me a photo album which consists of our memories. she's so sweet, always doing the best for her friends.
